All, I am about to embark on some research concerning sense of community and the "interagency" community. The interagency is a grouping of entities from various government agencies (defense, state, transportation, etc) and non-governemnt agencies, and also might include other nations and multilateral organizations (UN) who come together to tackle problems. My thesis is that trust theory and social contruction theory are inadequate to address the functioning aspect of the interagency; and that a higher PSOC towards the interagency will correlate to a higher sense of efficacy of the interagency therefore resulting in an increase in willingness to an extended involvement and more intricate commitment to solving a complex problem as a member of the interagency.
